I was experiencing with a problem that all my outlook categories tag are lost
(ie. all emails that I assigned red categories are reset) after the mail
provider changed something on their end.  I have noticed that emails that I
have read (show as read in outlook as well) do not have the organize option
available when I perform a right click.  However, the organize option will
become available after I reopened the email.  Thus, I assume the email has
somehow changed to unread but shown as read in outlook(?)  My master list is
still here, just that each email that I have categorize have lost it's
assigned category.  Any help that can  retrieve my lost categories will be
appreciated.

Thank you.

Do you use IMAP? That doesn't support categories.

Thanks for your prompt reply Michael.  Yes, I use IMAP, but then it used to
work before.  This is why I feel lost on this issue.
