Is there a way to set an appointment in your calendar to a specific category,
and have it set your "show as" status.

i.e   I have a doctors appointment, so I want to set the category to
private/personal or whatever I define, and then have it set my status as out
of office as well as private.

Outlook 2007.
Thanks in advance.

There is no built-in way to cause an action to occur when you add a category
to an item.  Possibly you might be able to so something if you wrote your
own VBA code.
