We have a web proxy here where you have to login to the proxy (firewall
appliance based) to use the internet.

Whenever we get an email that contains image links it only shows blank
thumbnails, and when you click right click on the image placeholder and click
"download pictures" it does not download them - we just get blank thumbnails.

I assume it is trying to download the image via the internet and not
integrating with the proxy settings in internet explorer.

any suggestions??
Thanks

I would have thought Outlook would use the IE settings too except for
possibly different security zone settings.
A workaround might be to open those messages in IE. Open the message then in
the Actions chunk choose Other Actions and then "View in Browser"
