Check your Outlook configuration in the Control Panel's Mail applet.

Try with a new profile and new PST created via the Mail icon in Control
Panel.

I forgot to mention I am not a Computer person and do not know an "applet" or
"PST" is? lol
If you can break it down in laymans terms it will help.
Thank you for the responses so far.

So you have not used Outlook on that computer before? You need to
configure Outlook before you can use it for the first time.

Is this a work or home situation? Work: contact your mail administrator.
Home: check your ISP's support website on how to set up Outlook for your
ISP's environment.

Open Control Panel, then double click on the 'Mail' icon. Check if all
settings are according to your ISP (cable provider) support/setup web
page for Outlook. Also check that the Personal Folders file (PST file)
exists at the location that 'Data Files' indicates.
