I recently formatted my laptop but I archived the .ost file. I did not have time to backup my emails to my .pst and I thought that by leaving them in the .ost, I will be able to recover them. Now that I see the hurdle, can anyone assist me in crossing it please? Simply reconnect to your Exchange server. The ost-file is only a cache of your Exchange mailbox. It will rebuild once you reconnect.
