I tried to send an e-mail with a very large attachment. I realized the file
was too large and tried to stop it from sending, but now it appears to be
stuck in my outbox, causing other unsent messages to pile up behind it. When
I click on it I receive an error message saying it cannot be opened because
Outlook has already started to send it. I tried to just hit delete but
nothing happens. Plus, if I close Outlook I can't re-open it without
restarting my computer. When I restart my computer it prompts me to open
Outlook in safe mode. While in safe mode I still can't delete the large
e-mail.

Click File and check Work Offline. Close and then restart Outlook. Delete
the message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.
