emailing attachments from outlook fails

I recently used Micosoft office update - it seemed to upgrade my outlook
express to outlook, now all emails with attachments seem to get bounced. I
have tried reinstalling outlook any suggestions for a solution / alternate
email client ?

Outlook isn't an upgrade of Outlook Express nor will an an Office Update
replace Outlook Express. Outlook Express is still installed on your
computer.

Office updates will set Outlook as the default mailer. Start Outlook
Express and it will ask if it should be set as the default mailer. Select
"Yes".
