My rules do not work. I have created a rule to operate when new message
arrives that contains "XXX" or "YYY"  in the sender's address, to delete it.
It does not work, either on new messages or when I run it on the existing
folders. I have selected Inbox as the place to run it.

I am out of  ideas. Help anyone?

What's the exact syntax of the rule?  I mean, the obvious answer is 'If the
rule isn't working when you run it manually, then the message you expect
the rule to run against doesn't match the rule.'
