I have six POP email accounts.  Have had the yahoo account since yahoo
offered them and always used Outlook without problems.  Following the recent
server problems with Yahoo which have since been rectified, I have begun to
recive on my yahoo account only, sending error 553 even though emails I send
actually go through.  I have done everything the yahoo options have
recommended and I have reinstalled completely the set up process in Outlook
for this pop account.  The error window has become a real nuisance for me and
it will NOT go away.  i have not experienced this on any other account.

Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to make this erronious error
message go away?  Thank you.

The error (email) messages comes from the ISP you are sending through and
not from Outlook.
Did you already try setting your SMTP server settings to use authentication?
Instead of using the SMTP server settings of Yahoo, you can also use the one
of the ISP that connects you to the Internet.
