We have about 10 contact folders (Trade Show Contacts) that I am trying to
merge into 1 folder. We have notes that we do not want to lose. We also have
fields that  incorrect type if information in them. Example Budget numbers we
want as a category not as a home phone. If I do the csv and manipulate with
excel I lose my notes as the excel fields are limited to 255 characters. Any
suggestions?

Why export to begin with? Just drag and drop the items from one folder to
the other.
