My Office 2003 spends 1/2 of its time synchronizing folders

While synchronizing my PC is essentially unusable.  I just have to sit there
and look at it until it completes the task.

And how many minutes is the polling interval set to?

If you mean Send/receive groups, neither one  is set to automatic if it is
something else, please enlighten me!

Tools menu>Options>Mail Setup>Send/Receive........schedule an auto... set it
to 10 minutes

I gave it a shot, exited and then launched Outlook.  Hope it works!!
