Whenever I press the receive button to collect my e-mails, Outlook logs onto
my e-mail server, the amount of e-mails to be collected is displayed in the
bottom right hand corner, but it just crashes.  it also leaves the Folder
Synchro icon on the task bar

Ok, if you need any help with solving this issue specify your configuration

I'm operating Windows XP with Office Enterprise 2007 on an Acer 5612LM1 Duo
Core processor T2300 1.66 Ghz.

I hope that's enough info, it did work until last November but even after
reinstalling I can't get it to work

Thanks in advance
