Unwanted Outlook meeting requests...

My issue has to do with the 'meeting request' feature built into
Outlook. I'm getting an increasing number of phony 'meeting request'
notices in my inbox that are actually spam. As these are NOT
traditional e-mail, none of my current filtering tools are able to
block them.

After a bit of digging, I found this article in Microsoft's Office
site:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052432221033.aspx

But, I have that box cleared so (I thought) it would NOT automatically
accept such requests. Doesn't seem to be blocking it. Sent Microsoft
feedback, as I need to know how to block such junk coming from those
not on my 'safe sender' list.

Anyone else run into this before? Found some help on it?

Version of outlook?

You can create a rule that looks for meeting requests and deletes them
except from people in the specified address book.

Sorry, Outlook 2003. I'll have to look at rules. Didn't know I could
use those on meeting requests...
