Favorite Folder not showing

Greetings:

How can I make the Favorite Folder visible in my Folder list panel? It used
to be visible. By mistake I removed it and now I wish to have it back.

Make sure Favorite Folders is selected here: View menu > Navigation Pane

I cliced "View menu > Navigation Pane". In the navigation Pane I can not
see the Favorite Folder. How can I restore it so I can see it or select it?

Are you in a mail folder when you try this? I checked this in OL2007

Yes, I am in the mail function and the FOLDER LIST is open. Below that there
is a heading "ALL FOLDERS" then "PERSONAL FOLDER"
