Moving the Sent Items Folder

My "Sent Items" folder is at the bottom of my "tree" of Inbox folders and
subfolders.  And I have a lot of Inbox folders and subfolders. That makes it
inconvenient for me to get to the Sent Items, which I often need to check.

However, I can’t move the folder up the tree.  When I try to drag it I get a
message that says “Can’t move the items..  Special folders including the
Inbox, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Tasks and Journal Folders, cannot be moved.”

This is on Outlook 2003 running on my home computers.

However, we’re also running Outlook 2003 on our computers at my office and
the Sent Items folder is near the top,

Is there anyway to address this?

Thank you!

Oh, never mind.  I just found the answer to my own question.  Apparenlty you
can't move the folder itself, but you can drag it to your "Favorite Folders"
area at the top of the navigation pane where it's easy to access.

I should have realized that.

Have you tried adding the Sent Items folder to your Favorite Folders list?

Hi Andrea,

the folders in Outlook are sorted in alphabetical order. The default folders
can not be changed or renamed.
