I removed my email default folder  in Outlook 2007 in error, now I can't
access the folder to repair it.  Outlook sends me to the File System folder
instead?  I can't access the options key either

Close Outlook, reopen it with the /resetfolders command:

start > run > outlook.exe /resetfolders

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks for replying.  I have tried this but it still won't open!  Any other
ideas?

Open the Mail applet in Control Panel and configure your mail profile to
reference your PST.

Thanks for replying.  I opened the applet as advised and input my mail
details but still no luck! Not sure what you mean about referencing the PST?
Any advice?

See that "Data Files" tab?  Add a PST there.
