Close Outlook, reopen it with the /resetfolders command:
start > run > outlook.exe /resetfolders

Thanks for replying. I have tried this but it still won't open! Any other
ideas?

Open the Mail applet in Control Panel and configure your mail profile to
reference your PST.

Thanks for replying. I opened the applet as advised and input my mail
details but still no luck! Not sure what you mean about referencing the PST?
Any advice?

See that "Data Files" tab? Add a PST there.
