Why are mails not sent ?

I use the "sendbutton" but the mails stay in the basket for mails to be sent.
My program is Outlook 2007

hey i think you have to check your settings ....there will be a option for
saving mails into to be sent basket when u click send....once you change this
the problem will be resolved

I'm having the same challenge.  I have changed the option and I still can't
get it to work--am I missing some step that I can't locate?  Could you give
specific steps--or tell me where to find?
