Update e-mail address in contacts, why no change in dist. list?

When I update someone's entry in my contacts, and I change their e-mail
address, how do I get it to change in a Distribution List as well, without
manually going in and changing every one?  The "Update Now" button doesn't
seem to do anything.  I'd really appreciate your help!

The "Update Now" button has always been hit-or-miss.  Your best bet is to
manually remove the entry and re-add it or stop using DLs altogether and
start using categories or multiple contacts folders.
