Hi Brian,
Thank you for your feedback! Since Microsoft has a KB article indicating
that version 7.x is the only compatible version with Outlook 2007 that would
be a conflict in regards to Adobe stating that 8.1 is compatible. I was
trying to see if anyone could bring clarification. Thanks,

8.0 works fine if you don't install the toolbar add-ons. I think even 7.0
would work fine if you exclude the toolbar add-ons [i.e. create a PDF only by
using the printer]. I saw one case where 8.1 works fine with Outlook but
gives macro errors in Word 2003 even.
Best bet is to install Acrobat 8 but don't install the macros/toolbars stuff
related to Office.

It's usually the case that once compatibility with Outlook gets added, it
stays. If it was added in some version of Acrobat 7, it's safe to assume
that later versions retain that compatibility. However, again, since
Acrobat is Adobe's product, they, not Microsoft, are the people to believe.
