What version of Adobe Acrobat is compatible with Outlook 2007?  There is a KB
article that states 8.X is not compatible with Outlook 2007 but there are a
number companies with Outlook 2007 running Adobe Acrabat 8.X version.  Thanks,

Shouldn't you have asked Adobe this question?  Acrobat is their product,
after all.

The Adobe web site says Acrobat V8.1 is Outlok 2007 compatible.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for your feedback!  Since Microsoft has a KB article indicating
that version 7.x is the only compatible version with Outlook 2007 that would
be a conflict in regards to Adobe stating that 8.1 is compatible.  I was
trying to see if anyone could bring clarification.  Thanks,

8.0 works fine if you don't install the toolbar add-ons. I think even 7.0
would work fine if you exclude the toolbar add-ons [i.e. create a PDF only by
using the printer]. I saw one case where 8.1 works fine with Outlook but
gives macro errors in Word 2003 even.

Best bet is to install Acrobat 8 but don't install the macros/toolbars stuff
related to Office.

It's usually the case that once compatibility with Outlook gets added, it
stays.  If it was added in some version of Acrobat 7, it's safe to assume
that later versions retain that compatibility.  However, again, since
Acrobat is Adobe's product, they, not Microsoft, are the people to believe.
