I am trying to convert my mom's Outlook Express data to Outlook 2007, which
is on my old computer that I am giving her.  How do I do this?  I've tried
copying the archive data to the new computer, but cannot get Outlook 2007 to
acknowledge it.  I also tried loading my Outlook 2007 to her old computer to
convert it there, but am unable to activate it on her computer as apparently
I've done that too many times?  Any help would be much apprecianted

You need to have the old OE msg store available in OE or Mail in the new PC
before you can then Export msgs from OE to OL, and in OL import the
addressess (from the *.wab file which you will also have copied)

ie both apps must be set up on the same PC
PS If your mom is only going to use OL for mail, then maybe OE is a better
option
