I have just changed from outlook express to outlook and the major thing I
want to get rid of is the date separation headers. e.g.- yesterday, two weeks
ago, last month, older. I can read the date the email was sent and find these
to be taking up too much screen space.

Go into the folder you want to change the view of, go to the View menu >
Current View > Customize Current  View > Click Group By and uncheck
"Automatically group"
