I originally used export & import but I went to the website you listed below
with instructions & was able to get my emails, contacts & calendar.

the quickest way is to select "Personal Folders" and make sure the box to
"include subfolders" is checked. Then you'll get everything.

No, an export is not a proper backup and is not the fastest method. See my
reply to Eileend.
