error on pst file

I've got a user that has been using her pst file for while, now its not
working she is getting an error message:
Microsoft Office Outlook The file P:\Tammy Boaz Mail.pst is not a personal
folders file.

what do I need to do I've tried renaming still get the same error, I her pst
to her desktop and relinking still getting the same error.

need help

The outlook version is?
The size of the pst?
And if you run scanpst.exe, the repair tool on it?
P drive, is that a network location?

MS Doesnt support the use of a pst over a network as it leads to corruption

And it sounds like the PST has been corrupted.
