When I am in WORD and attempt to insert an address, this is the error message I get: "Window Messaging: The Mapi Spooler could not be started. Close and restart all mail-enabled applications. Mapi 1.0 (000000437)" When I select okay, this is the following message I get: "Microsoft Office Word: Logon failed. You must log onto Microsoft Exchange to access your address book. Erro code: unspecified error" Thanks for your response. Chuck L You need to state your Word version. You need to state your default mail application and Contacts manager for your operating system, and what that OS is. You need to state how you configured the address book service in your default Outlook profile. For some reason, that resolved the problem. The error you were receiving indicates an incorrectly configured Outlook Address Book.
