Hi
I have read in one of the other messages that there is not a limit on the
number of rules that you can apply in Outlook XP but that there is a size
limit set on the mailbox for the rules. Can this be changed and if so where
is the option?
Thanks in Advance

Hello Ailish,
This can be an on-demand request for changes to be made in exchange server.
You are right as outlook has no limitations in creating and holding the
number of rules but the company restricts it due to mailbox size issue. You
need to contact your system administrator to increase mailbox size in
exchange server.

Though this won't get the size limit increased, the following web page may be
of value: http://tinyurl.com/5hjvyv

Raj doesn't know what he's talking about. There is no way to adjust the
space allowed in the mailbox for rules. For Exchange 2003 and earlier, it's
32K per mailbox (and may be less for some much earlier versions, but I don't
know that for sure) and 64K per mailbox (adjustable to 256K) for Exchange
2007.
