I was using Outlook 2007 and love it!  but then one day it just closed while
I was using it then this message came up. :

Microsoft Office Outlook:

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook.  Cannot open the Outlook
Window.  The set of folders cannot be opened.  Errors have been detected in
the file
C:\users\.... …. appData\local\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst.
Quit Outlook and all mail-related applications, and then use the Inbox
repair tool (scanpst.exe)
To diagnose and repair errors in the file.  For more information about the
Inbox repair tool, see Help.

I've searched/scanned my computer for the scanpst.exe.. not there.  looked
for the Inbox repair tool.. not there.  I've uninstalled outlook 2007 and
reloaded it.. still says the same thing.  I'm very frustrated here cos I love
outlook.  I hate microsoft Mail!  Please help.  I've bought the outlook 2007
outright.  I paid a great deal for this to just turn to crap.  Thanks for
everyones help.

Did you turn on searching hidden files/folders?

How do you use this?  I've downloaded it.  I've looked at this :
http://www.msoutlook.info/question/77  to where it tells me to look here:
32-bit Windows; C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

but I come up with nothing.  Thanks for your help.

If you browse to that folder you'll see a list of files. The file that you
need to double click on is scanpst.exe. Once you've opened scanpst.exe
browse to the location of your pst-file to check it for errors.
