I have downloaded the Personal Folder back up tool and "back up" appears on
the Outlook/ contact/ file drop down menu and I can back up successfully.
I have tried to do the same thing on my "vista" laptop and the back up
option does not appear  on the file menu. I have tied re-installing the back
up add in but I am informed that it is already installed. What am I doing
wrong?

Have you downloaded the latest version: 5/7/2008?

That version is the same as published a few years ago. It's only republished
to update the info on the page to say that it is also compatible with
Outlook 2007. In fact; this has always been the case.

Thanks for the info Roady. I  downloaded it to my Vista Drive this morning
and had no problem whatsoever. I just happened to notice the date an assumed
it was a newer version.

An honest mistake. I would assume the same from pretty much any other
software tool as well ;-)
