I had tried that but it didn't help. I may have misled you on the toolbar. I
am referring to the toolbar in Outlook's main window, not in the 'compose'
window. All the other apps responded to my tweaking but the Outlook toolbar
resists changes. The font look a little blurry - almost like there is a
shadow of another font color - and that's why I'm trying to fix it.

I seem to have accidentally fixed the font probelm. I decided to do a factory
reset of the monitor and everything cleared up.
