I have a user who is switching from OL2003 to OL2007 and has a couple of
newbie type questions
(1) She has a couple of email "aliases" that she uses to SEND email.
The addresses are legit, but do not have a real account (the server
simply puts all messages for the aliases into her real account).
For example, if her real address is "user@ourdomain", she will send out
email as "fake1@domain" and "fake2@domain". In order for her to be able
to get OL2007 to allow her to send email using those addresses, I had to
add the fake addresses as accounts.
Question: how do I tell OL2007 to NOT actually try to logon to the
server to check for new messages for those fake accounts?
(2) She does not use the preview pane (hates it). Which means when she
reads a message, she opens it by double clicking on it and it opens the
message in a new window.
Question: how does she get OL2007 to close that READING window when she
clicks on the Reply or Forward button?
