I have an Outlook2003 (POP3/SMTP) account.
I receive and also send emails twice, the emails I receive twice are from
POP3 accounts as well. This happens once in a while...not everytime I receive
an email.
How do i know what's causing the problem? how can I find out if is some type
of hiccup?

I have no rules assigned.
I'm running Panda AV.

Any comments would help.
Thanks!

If Panda is scanning your email, you've probably found the culprit.  ALL
emails scanners are incompatible with ALL email clients at some level.  Try
disabling the email scanning and see if it helps.  Note that disabling may
not be enough, you may have to uninstall Panda, then re-install it omitting
any form of email scanning.

3. Turn off email scanning in your antivirus software.

Stop error message when you send or receive e-mail messages on a Windows
Vista-based computer that has e-mail scanning software installed: "STOP:
0x1000008E KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M"

Hal thanks for the response.

I'll try and see if that works. Though I'm not using Outlook Express.
I'm using Office Outlook, not sure if that's a difference?

I'll let you know how it went.

Thanks!

The reference on the OE site really applies to ALL email clients, ALL of
which will experience problems when an AV application is set to scan email.
