Last week I open my outlook express and my delete, address book and send and
receive tabs at the top were all missing.  I assumed an automatic update
messed it up but when I looked for a fix or patch for missing tabs in outlook
express I found nothing.  I don't want to do a restore because I concerned
about losing some of my info.  Any suggestions?

Questions regarding Outlook Express are best asked in an OE group such
as news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general

As Pat says, wrong group.  Since you're here, however:

http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#badbuttons
Toolbar buttons are distorted or black
http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#notoolbars
Toolbars disappear from Message Composition windows or the main OE window
