I frequently need to know how many contacts are in a particular distribution
list. It is a pain trying to manually count them up each time. With my
previous version of Outlook this information was displayed clearly but not in
the 07 version. How do I find this information without manually counting.

Feature no longer exists. You may continue to count them manually. Nice,
huh?
The lesson we have all learned here is that DL's are a poorly implemented
feature with no features to redeem them and no support from Outlook. Most of
us look for alternatives.

So what alternatives do you find? Are they outside of MS Outlook perhaps?

Read the posts here. Most users use categories or separate Contact
subfolders depending on their needs.
