Often when I go to shut off my laptop, I see that outlook.exe is failing to
respond. It has "frozen" -- then I start it up in safe mode, but never see
any suggestions to fix the problem. How do I resolve this?

Do you exit Outlook prior to shutting down? Have you tried waiting a minute
or two before shutting down? Check Task Manager to see if Outlook is
shutting down slowly (memory usage going up then down before exiting)
