After installing the third update for Windows XP Pro, all of my rules and all
of the mail that I had been saving in special folders I had created in my
Inbox have all disappeared. I am using Outlook 2007. A one-hour telephone
conversation with a Microsoft Office specialist did not help me recover my
precious lost mail. If any other help is availabe, please let me know.
Thank you for your kind attention.

So Outlook appears empty to you now?
Use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File... and open the pst-file where you kept
your mail in.

Thanks, Roady, for your advice. However, what you asked me to do I did
already following the Microsoft Office Technical Advisor. So, can you help me
with another suggestion?
Thanks.

All data is kept in a pst-file. If you have checked all your pst-files and
none contain the data that you are looking for then your only option is to
restore from backup.
