on 3 April my outlook express stopped working. I have been in touch withh
talktalk my broadband provider and checked all my settings and everything is
correct, I am able to access web mail so the problem is not with talktalk but
with microsoft outlook but I am unable to dicover what the problem is

Outlook and Outlook Express are two different applications. The correct
newsgroup for Outlook Express is microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general.
Being able send or receive web mail does not indicate that talktalk is not
the probelm.
