Outlook 2003 allowed me to click contact at lower left of appointemnt or task
to connect this appointment or task to an individual contact. How can I do
that on Outlook2007

By default it is turned off in 2007 (no I don't know why that seemed a good
idea to Microsoft at the time).  Turn it on here:

Tools | Options | Contacts Options | Contact linking.
