Large File in Outbox won't Send or Transmit-Stuck for Months

I tried to send an email with a huge file size and now I can't delete it and
it won't transmit. It's 28MB. I tried to archive it, but since it's not more
than a day old ever, it won't allow it. It won't allow anything else I've
tried since "message has already begun transmission".

If anyone knows how to get this out of my outbox and gone please advise!!!
