I received an email about a virus and it said do not open any email with subject "postcard". The email said it was legitimate. It said you could verify by going to slopes.com. And that CNN reported on the virus. McAfee is supposed to have found it and there's no fix yet. It is supposed to open a postcard image that attacks the zero sector of your hard disk. Has anyone heard of this or know if it's true? Just because you got this in an email, doesn't make it an Outlook related question. "I hate Outlook, I just received an email from my boss telling me I don't get a raise." You might want to reconsider which sources you trust. I'm 100% sure it didn't came from a trustworthy security alert newsletter. Anyway, a very simply search on "postcard virus" tells you it is a fake.
