I have 4 machines running identical versions of Outlook (11.5608.5606), one
for each family member.  One machine stopped displaying messages a few weeks
ago, even though they are being downloaded from the ISP server.  Send/receive
from the ISP webmail works fine.  Rend/receive indications look normal with
no error messages.  Junk mail and rule settings don't seem to be the
culprits.  I've checked all settings, deleted and re-added the account with
no luck.  No other problems with the other machines and no virus/malware that
I can find.

Any ideas?

Check your view set on the folder. It could have a filter applied.
