I downloaded Outlook 2007 trial two days ago, to run under Windows Vista.
I've uploaded all updates to both products
I can test my account settings successfully, including setting a test
e-mail; yet when I send a mail thru normal means the mail just sits in my
Outbox without being sent.
Initially this problem was intermittent – i.e. it would send some mails and
not others – but now it’s permanent.
Any ideas on how I might fix this? I’ve run Office diagnostic (all ok) and
tried running in Safe mode but still the same result.
PS If necessary I'm willing to pay the license fee to buy Outlook so I can
call on MS technical support, but am reluctant to do so without at least
knowing this problem is curable!
Do you get any send/receive errors?
Which mail account type are you using?
Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook or does some other
type of mail protocol scanning? Disable this integration and try again.
