Using XP SP2. When I click the Quick Launch Show Desktop icon, the Outlook
window closes instead of minimizing. Other windows minimize as expected.
Thank you for replying.

Start OL, right click on the OL icon in the lower right Navigation Pane and
uncheck "Hide when minimized." All you have to do to restore when hidden is
double click on the icon. OL is actually still running when the icon shows.

Well, did you configure OL2003 to minimize to a tray icon?  Did you
check in the system notification area (i.e., tray area) of the Windows
taskbar to see if there is a tray icon for Outlook over there?  When you
minimize all, is the outlook.exe process still listed in Task Manager's
Process tab?
