Outlook should offer the ability to show the full path of a specific email
during a search operation.  Currently, Outlook only displays the folder name
of where it resides, but it does not show how to get to that folder.  If the
folder where the email resides is a sub-folder that is 2-3 folders deep,
knowing just the name of the folder won't help me identify where this folder
actually is in the folder hierarchy.  I could not an option to view the
folder path in neither Outlook 2003 nor 2007.  However, the search
functionality in Windows Vista does reveal that the folder name is not just
"Zzzz", but is rather located at "Inbox\Purchases\2008\Zzzz".  I would like
to have the ability to do this in Outlook too.

Thanks.

Did you turn on the Web toolbar in Outlook?

Hello Milly!  I enabled the web toolbar in Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007, but
it only shows me the folder that I am currently in and not the folder where
the email resides.  Here is an example in Outlook 2007:

While in the Inbox folder, in the search box I look for an email that I know
is in a sub-folder of the Inbox.  The web toolbar only shows "All Mail Items"
even if I select an email (while searching) is in a sub-folder.  It appears
that the web toolbar only shows that folder that I am currently in, and not
the folder that the email corresponds to.

Thanks.
