I want to remove the account but I need to keep the contacts and history. 2 years ago the account was set up and now it isnt needed any longer but the some of the information such as history and contacts are needed. If you can, create a PST (File - New - Outlook Data File) and drag the data you want saved into the appropriate folders. If you can't, you can look for a utility like OST2PST and hope it works.
