I want to remove the account but I need to keep the contacts and history.  2
years ago the account was set up and now it isnt needed any longer but the
some of the information such as history and contacts are needed.  The account
is a Microsoft Exchange Server and the permissions info cant be accessed.

Are you able to get in and see the data?  If you can, create a PST (File
- New - Outlook Data File) and drag the data you want saved into the appropriate
folders.  If you can't, you can look for a utility like OST2PST and hope
it works.
