Outlook Connector issues

I have 3 Hotmail accounts and I have recently been having trouble with one of
them. The problem is that one of the accounts will not update itself even
though the other two work fine.  When I click the server status button down
the bottom for the problematic account, it says that it is connecting to the
mail and contacts server but for the other two it says it has connected.  I
think basically the problem is that it is not connecting to the Hotmail
server.  I tried deleting this particular account as well as reinstalling
Outlook Connector and the same problem with the same account keeps occuring.
There aren't too many option available to configure so I can't see what I
might be doing wrong in terms of setting them up and I set them up in exactly
the same way so I'm not sure what's going on here.

All 3 accounts are @hotmail.com accounts and I have been playing around with
various settings all to no avail.

Any help would be more than appreciated.

do any 2 work? ie, if you remove one of the working ones, does the
non-working one work?
have you converted the 3rd acct to a live acct?

Well I tried removing all of the accounts then just seeing if I could get the
problematic email account to work on its own but this didn't help.  I'm not
sure what a Live account is but I think all three are just normal email
accounts. I was able to get the problematic email account to work up until a
week ago and then it stopped updating all of a sudden.

log into the problematic acct through a browser and there should be an
option to upgrade to a live account.  Or if you installed Windows Live Mail
client (replaces OE), set it up in it - if it works, then it should work
with the connector.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with a winows live account.  I have 2 and one has
stopped working.  I've tried all of your suggestions and I've also
uninstalled an reinstalled the Connector but nothing has helped.

Do you have any more ideas?

Thanks

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate
Outlook version: 2007
Account type: Windows Live subscription

So it worked for a while? Have you rebooted or restarted outlook since it
stopped working?

Its not unusual to have transient errors that clear up after a couple of
days.
