i have a message in my outbox that wont delete

please help. it is from a hotmail account, and the email is 11mb (i know -
over the 10mb limit). However, it wont send and it wont delete. i dont want
to send it anymore, and i need help deleting it. can someone please help?

Are you using outlook or outlook express? and what version?

File > Work offline, close outlook and reopen, delete items from the outbox,
be sure to go back to "online"
