Navigation Pane Buggy

I am having problems with the navigation pane retaining settings. Here are
some of my problems:
- I have carefully organized my folders as shortcuts, adding them one at a
time. Then the shortcuts spontaneously rearrange themselves, some of them
being duplicated, some of the groups being duplicated, others disappearing.
Then I fixed everything, only to have it happen again. Now this time ths
shortcuts have just completely disappeared.

- Under, for example, the calendar view, the several calendars I have on
Outlook appear with checkboxes so that I can select which one(s) I want to
view. Right-clicking on these options gives me the choice to remove one of
them from "my calendars". Yet sometimes the removed calendars reappear, and
sometimes one that is there suddenly appears twice. I've observed this same
behavior with note folders, contact folders, etc.

- Recently, the buttons on the bottom of the navigation pane reset
themselves to the default setting, and I can't get them to stick with the
choices I make using the add/remove feature.

I think I've had one or two other similar problems with the navigation pane.
Can anyone help me?

By the way, we use WorkgroupShare for peer-to-peer sharing of contacts and
calendars. Is there any chance this is playing a role in our problems? So far
we are super-pleased with WorkgroupShare as it is very easy to use and seems
to run smoothly in the background.

Forgot to mention that I use Outlook 2003.
