What do I have to do to ensure that the notes are saved along with the other
contact information when I save a vcard. The notes are displayed in Outlook
2003 - but thay are not saving.

This is a known problem, but unfortunately there is no workaround. If you have applied Office 2003 SP1, the notes will be saved with the .vcf file (you can check that for yourself in Notepad), but Outlook 2003 will not display or save them when you open the .vcf file.

try this :

open Vcard attachment
change the font
type something inside the notes field
save and close
check if the notes are now visible!
=)

For some reason the notes field is not mapping correctly

how do we find the mapping of the Notes field in Outlook and ensure that it
is mapping to the right field,
if its not mapping the right field what would be the solution? (for the
notes field as well as for any other field)

Thanks in Advance

Any suggestions on getting anniversary dates to appear if you can't change
the font?

I noticed that this is an old thread, but I ran into this issue. Your
suggestion worked, opened the attached vcard sent, changed the font and then
save/close.

Although after I saved it, it went back to the original font style that it
was originally in. But, your suggestion worked, so that's all that matters  =)
