I have been retrieving my Hotmail through outlook for four months. Yesterday I received an error message 0X800cccf6 stating that access to Hotmail via Outlook or Outlook Express requires a subscription. No need to post the same question three times. There is no way around it except, possibly, with an add-in that acts as a proxy between an Outlook POP account and your Hotmail web mail interface. Were you able to resolve your issue ? Probably by installing the Outlook Connector.
