when I type cc: at the bottom of a letter autocorrect changes it to Cc:  In
Autocorrect menu I asked it to correct Cc: to cc: but it didn't work.  I also
put in Exceptions not to capitalize cc and that doesn't work.  In Word 98,
autocorrect would replace Cc: with cc: but since then in Word 2000 and Word
2003 it doesn't work.  Does anyone have a solution?  Thanks.

The only solutions I've seen offered are (1) press Ctrl+Z immediately after
each "correction" or (2) assign cc: to some other AutoCorrect entry, so that
you can type, for example, xy and get cc:.

Navigate to Insert   AutoText   AutoText   AutoCorrect  tab
Exceptions    other corrections
Add   "cc" to the list without quotes.

OK out.
