When y have a "only-read document" y can not open it ( ever y see no document at al) I'm working with Vista and Word 2007. Groeten Steemans A. You should be able to open a read-only document, but not make changes. What happens when you attempt to open it? Do you get an error message? The document is not damaged. Other peaple can open it. When i make a test by myself with a only-read document the same happends, i can not open it.
